New materials like mesh and piping are sometimes added to the tops of scrubs to spice it up a little. This can make your scrubs more breathable for the warmer months. Tee-shirt styles as oppose to traditional scrub tops are very common now-a-days and coordinate with the scrub bottoms. Like t-shirts, these include graphics or brand names, and are extremely comfortable and flattering on most shapes.
